Among the low points Daley reveals is that he suffered PTSD that nearly “ruined his life” after the 2012 Olympics… and admits he feels self-conscious standing on a diving board being “close to naked.”
The 25-year-old – who spends the majority of his time wearing tiny Speedos when at work—also admitted he has body confidence issues.
Despite seemingly being in peak athletic condition, famed for his sculpted torso, he said: “Standing on a diving board in very minimal clothing—it’s close to being naked. Every time I look in the mirror I find myself catching myself: ‘Oh gosh, oh no, I shouldn’t have eaten that… Oh, I feel horrible.”
