‘WandaVision’ Nabs 23 Emmy Nominations with Acting Noms for Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, and Kathryn Hahn

Disney+ WandaVision nabbed 23 Emmy nominations and Falcon and the Winter Soldier got 4, including acting noms for Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Don Cheadle, and Kathryn Hahn.

The Hollywood Reporter:WandaVision is nominated for outstanding limited or anthology series, while Elizabeth Olsen is nominated for lead actress in the category for her role as Wanda Maximoff.

Olsen said about her #WandaVision #Emmys nomination: “It was really one of the most fun jobs I’ve ever had because of these sitcoms through the decades. It made me realize, ‘Oh maybe I should be a sitcom actor, what am I doing with all these dramas?’”

Paul Bettany earned a best actor nom in the category for playing Olsen’s on-screen husband, Vision. Kathryn Hahn, known for as the fan-favorite nosy neighbor Agatha, landed a guest actor nomination.

(The Agatha-themed song “Agatha All Along” also earned an outstanding music and lyrics nom.)

WandaVision was also recognized for production design, casting, costumes, directing, editing, period hairstyling, main title design, period makeup, main title theme music, music supervision, sound editing, sound mixing, special effects and writing (where it makes up three of six nominees in its category.)

Hahn’s reaction to #WandaVision‘s 23 #EmmyNoms: “I was so excited by the ambition and by the scale, but also the fact that they were trying to tell a love story — but a woman’s story in which her origin of her power is really her own strength.”
