This past Saturday was Batman Day 2021.
The first Batman Day was July 23, 2014. That was the 75th anniversary of the first appearance of Batman in Detective Comics #27 in 1939.
The day was chosen to coincide with San Diego Comic-Con. Subsequent Batman Days have been on the third Saturday in September.
DC brought some of the fire as Batman: The Audio Adventures is live on HBO Max today and Batman: The World is out in stores too.

The latter title is an anthology that spans 184 pages all about The Caped Crusader. Audio Adventures sees Jeffrey Wright as the voice of Batman in a thrilling podcast mystery.
