Visually stunning with art by John Romita Jr. The story feels well worn and not in a good way. Frank Miller’s narrative feels off kilter here.
Although it does have its moments.
Launched under DC’s new premiere Black Label, perhaps it’ll read better when collected, as the first issue feels less than complete.
But again, we love JRJ’s take on the DC Universe.
