Actress Sonequa Martin-Green will make history this Thursday November 18 when the premiere of Star Trek: Discovery season four debuts on Paramount+.

Martin-Green who plays Michael Burnham, the lead character on the series, will be the first Black, female captain in the franchise’s 55 year history.
Burnham was promoted in the season 3 finale and even got her own catch phrase, “Let’s Fly.”
