Queer As Folk’s Johnny Silbilly’s Response to Global Facebook Outage Is Funny AF

Actor Johnny Sibilly who will join the Peacock’s reboot of Queer As Folk had a hysterical response to the global Facebook/Instagram/WhatsApp outage Monday.

Sibilly wrote in a Tweet: You know what’s not down? This dick!

Last month Deadline announced that Sibilly, who’s been a featured actor on Pose and Hacks, would join the cast “as a successful lawyer who is not as put together as he seems.”

The actor posted on Instagram: “Dreams come true. Still in awe that this is happening. So excited to tell these stories with these amazing people for this ICONIC show.”

The Peacock series is a re-imagination of the British series from Russell T. Davies which starred Aidan Gillen, Charlie Hunnam, and Craig Kelly as three gay men living in Manchester. A U.S. remake, set in Pittsburgh, also aired on Showtime.

Peacock’s Queer As Folk follows the lives of a diverse group of friends in New Orleans whose lives are transformed in the aftermath of a tragedy.

Sibilly, who is queer, is of Cuban and Dominican descent and an activist, and supporter of Latin-American and LGBTQ+ rights.
