Last night Bill Maher interviewed Pete Buttigieg live from Davenport, Iowa where he was campaigning for the Iowa caucuses at St. Ambrose University.
Maher asked Buttigieg upfront how he feels, as the youngest guy running at 37, about the fact that the two leading Democratic contenders Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden are In their late 70s. Buttigieg replied, “Every single time that my party has captured the White House in the last 50 years it’s been with a candidate new to national politics and opening the door to a new generation.”
