Mark Hamill Wants Trump’s Star on the Walk of Fame Replaced with Carrie Fisher’s

Share

Star Wars‘ own Luke Skywalker aka Mark Hamill thinks that President Donald J. Trump’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame should be replaced with Carrie Fisher. Hamill wrote this in a response to a tweet from Jon Cooper, Chairman of the Democratic National Coalition who asked sarcastically, “Tomorrow (June 14) is Donald Trump’s birthday. If you got him something, what would it be?”

Hamill fired back “I’d have his Walk of Fame Star updated & corrected, or even better, replace his with someone who actually deserves one.”

Fisher doesn’t have one and Hamill has been championing for Fisher to get a star since her death 2 and half years ago. Fans will get to see her on the big screen one more time in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. According to director, J.J. Abrams, Leia will be featured in the film using unreleased footage.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker
  hits theatres on December 20th.
