Marianne Williamson May Seem Like a Harmless Hippie, But Make no Mistake, Her Ideology is Dangerous: WATCH

MARIANNE WILLIAMSON emerged from the Democratic primary debates as the most Googled name. She also emerged as the most widely ridiculed by the late night shows. While she may seem like an innocuous hippie with some good ideas, make no mistake Williamson’s ideology is dangerous.

According to NBC News, “Williamson’s appeal to the left isn’t hard to fathom. She uses loopy hippie rhetoric that feels like a refreshing change from default politician-speak and she embraces some parts of the progressive agenda. In the June debate, for example, Williamson declared that she would “harness love” to defeat President Donald Trump, while forcefully condemning the treatment of children at the southern border. In a post-debate interview, she endorsed reparations for slavery, a position that sets her apart from many of the candidates and impressed some commenters.”

Michael Goff, the founder of Out magazine, posted on Facebook: “…This past June for example she called mandatory vaccine policies ‘Orwellian.’ In addition, because she thinks that one’s spiritual state determines one’s material condition, Williamson frequently blames people who are ill for their own sickness. For example, she repeatedly told gay men with HIV that they could cure themselves by trusting in God and love. In A Course in Weight Loss she insisted that for men with AIDS, forgiving their enemies would function like chemotherapy for cancer patients.”

Please do not even indulge this woman. She is dangerous, scary and effectively not part of the empathetic progressive or moderate Democratic party.

After her books and the crap she pulled during the AIDS crisis she should be run off the stage. [And although she is] absolutely calling some of the issues like it is—in Flint, Michigan, with racism, with the move to fascism by Trump. And the rest [of the contenders] need to as well. But she is as dangerous and as anathema to what this country needs as Trump is.

But, she does not come from a place of collective answers we need for the United States. Her philosophy is steeped in the rationalizations for selfishness and getting what they want for themselves that is the biggest part of the New Age movement. And if she has changed dramatically she needs to make that clear and not act as if she’s above it all. 
It’s the privileged “progressives” of Grosse Pointe and the west side of Los Angeles. Another selfish crazy guru. She has never apologized for building her fame by blaming gay men dying of AIDS for their illness and on and on.
