Mahershala Ali Will Play Blade in the Marvel Cinematic Universe: WATCH

Oscar winner Mahershala Ali has signed on to play Blade in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige made the announcement on Saturday at Comic-Con International.
The role was made famous by actor Wesley Snipes in three highly successful films released by Fox when Marvel Studios did not own the rights to the character for licensing reasons.
The character was created by comic book legends Marv Wolfman and Gene Colan, who needed a primary antagonist for the Tomb of Dracula comic that starred, wait for it, Dracula.
His mother was prostitute who was bitten by a vampire while pregnant, resulting in the mutant Blade, aka Eric Brooks. Long before Buffy, Blade was a Vampire Hunter.
