AT LEAST 69 million Americans have already cast their ballots for next week’s election, a historic figure that has upended expectations about Election Day and which states could decide the presidential contest reports the Washington Post. “The massive number, which includes voters who have cast ballots either in person or by mail, has stunned election officials and campaign operatives. It equals roughly half of the total turnout in 2016 — all but ensuring, with early voting continuing through the weekend, that the majority of ballots will be cast before Election Day for the first time in history.”
For now, the early numbers overwhelmingly favor Democrats in 16 of 19 states that provide such data. But the gap between Democratic and Republican voters has narrowed in recent days in several battleground states, and the campaigns of President Trump and former vice president Joe Biden noted that more Republicans are expected to vote on Nov. 3, Election Day, than Democrats, according to numerous polls.
The question is how many more.

CONFIRMED Hocus Pocus 2 is coming! Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy, and Sarah Jessica Parker — the Sanderson sisters in the 1993 cult classic Hocus Pocus — will reunite for a sequel, ET Canada reports.
In an interview with FOX 5 New York’s Good Day New York, Midler said “they want to make a movie, they’ve asked us if we were interested and of course all of us said yes. I’m game, I’m totally game.” Because the original film has become a staple of Halloween, speculation arose over the last few years about a potential sequel.
Hocus Pocus 2 will be directed by Adam Shankman (Hairspray and Step Up).
The trio will reunite beforehand, this coming Friday October 30, for a live, one-night-only virtual event, In Search of the Sanderson Sisters. Hosted by Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, the event will also feature Jamie Lee Curtis, Todrick Hall, Adam Lambert, Sarah Silverman, and more.

DEATH THREATS have been directed at 60 Minutes host Lesley Stahl after President Trump cut short their interview that aired Sunday. According to TMZ, “[CBS] has guards monitoring the homes of Lesley and her family members, and escorting them if they go out in public. Law enforcement sources tell us the death threat call was reported to LAPD around 9 AM Thursday, October 22. We’re told the caller directed the threat toward Lesley and her family, and also said something about neo-Nazis. The call came a couple days after word got out the President bailed on Lesley. That’s also a few hours before Trump released the full interview ahead of Sunday’s broadcast. Stahl’s 60 Minutes interview aired Sunday night on CBS … including her follow-up questioning of VP Mike Pence as to why the Prez walked out on her.

ON LOCATION Zack Snyder’s Justice League has been a long time coming, as fans have campaigned and crowdfunded years to finally see the director’s vision brought to life. Snyder has been given millions for editing, visual effects, as well as brand new footage. He’s since celebrated the start to this process, sharing on Twitter:

Not much is known about what the Snyder Cut’s reshoots might entail, but a number of actors are reportedly returning to help the project come together as originally intended. Ben Affleck, Amber Heard, Gal Gadot, and Ray Fisher have all been reported as participating in said reshoots.
Plus, even Jared Leto will be involved and playing his Suicide Squad version of Joker.
The four part mini-series is scheduled for a summer 2021 release on HBO Max.
MARVEL announced a prequel to the seminal X-Men story, “Days of Future Past.” Writer Chris Claremont posted on social media Tuesday. It is the first installment of the Marvel Made Paragon Collection, described as a means to celebrate “Marvel’s most iconic writers and artists.” This one celebrates Claremont by reprinting some of his best-known X-Men stories. Not only that, but the collection includes a new, exclusive, 20-page prequel to “Days of Future Past,” a seminal X-Men story, from Claremont and frequent X-Men collaborator Salvador Larroca. That’s in addition to exclusive behind-the-scenes interviews and other content.
“This collection with Marvel Made is a beautiful new compendium of some of my best, plus a beautifully illustrated new story by Salvadore Larroca. Here’s where fans get to see Nightcrawler and Bloody Bess save the world,” Claremont teased in a press release. “Wanna find out how? Get this collection. I can’t wait to have this on my own shelf.”

CAITLYN’S CRIB Attitude Magazine says that Caitlyn Jenner’s house is the episode of MTV’s Cribs we didn’t know we needed. “Caitlyn Jenner has invited fans into her 12-acre Malibu property for the latest series of MTV Cribs – while insisting the house itself is “not as big as people may think.”
Well, the jury’s out on that one!
The Olympian and reality TV veteran appears on tonight’s episode of the show.
In a preview clip which you can watch below, Caitlyn – whose six kids include Kylie and Kendell Jenner – shows off a hallway filled with awards and her huge walk-in closet, while also checking in on manager Sophia Hutchins (who the show introduces as ‘Caitlyn’s housemate’) in her makeshift office.

“I’ve always been up to hijinks like flying ghosts or 7-foot tall snow sculptures of myself, so if I was gonna do Halloween, it was obvious that it should be hyperreal,” Novak says. “No lights, fog machine, or camp … something that would really freak people out walking by in the dark. So I whipped up some dummies and slung 20 gallons of blood all over.”
