Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams, who played Arya Stark in the epic HBO adaptation of George R.R. Martins’ series of fantasy novels, A Song of Ice and Fire, which ended its 8th and final season last night, has been revealed as the first guest judge on the UK version of RuPaul’s Drag Race, Deadline reports.
The show will stream on BBC Three later this year with host RuPaul, and mainstay judges Michelle Visage, Graham Norton and Alan Carr.
Williams told Deadline, “What I love the most about drag is the story of the drag queen behind the facade. I think that so much of drag comes from a place of real pain and seeing how that transforms into a character is so interesting to me. I love that about art and about drag.”
Hopefully Williams won’t be employing needle on contestants that meet her displeasure.
