#WHOA Keanu Reeves says ‘Cyberpunk 2077’ Will be Out Next Year and It Looks Dope AF: WATCH

Keanu Reeves arrives for the John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum’ L.A. Special Screening on May 15, 2019 in Hollywood, CA.

Microsoft has revealed a new trailer for their highly anticipated RPG X-Box game, Cyberpunk 2077, starring Keanu Reeves.

The trailer differed little from the one they released last year, including a Blade Runner-esque dark (yet neon-drenched) future where body modifications and criminal activity are common (reminiscent of the world of director Neill Blomkamp’s film Elysium starring Matt Damon).

Fans got their  first real look at it last year. The project is an open-world shooter with heavy character customization options, set in a world where implants can drastically change people’s appearance and abilities. It’s based on the tabletop title Cyberpunk 2020 and made by CD Projekt Red, known for the Witcher series.

Reeves — whose character is apparently named “Mr. Fusion” — made a surprise appearance at the end of the trailer, then on stage, where he announced the game’s release date of April 16th, 2020.
