On Thursday’s ExpediTIously podcast from PodcastOne, Tyler Perry shared with host TI his plans for what’s next after the Madea Farewell Tour. Perry, who recently opened the sprawling Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta, Georgia shared his plans for using some of his land to build a shelter for LGBTQ Youth and human trafficking victims.
Perry also discusses receiving criticisms that it was easier for him to make it in Hollywood dressed as Madea, and how he grew a friendship with Oprah outside of the industry, even sharing that Oprah leans on him for advice as much as he does her.
