Tituss Burgess Tells America to Face the ‘Crisis’ of Donald Trump in ’45’ Music Video: WATCH

“Our country is in a crisis,” Burgess said in an exclusive statement to Billboard. “This man in power has put much of the US under a sleeping spell that is slowly transforming into apathy from the rest of us. This song is a call to wake up and realize that this state we’re in can be changed and must be changed, as we the people are the hope and future of America.”

The accompanying music video features Burgess and Watts tied up to a pole, as four servants with Trump-esque blue eyes painted on their closed eyelids dance with their hands in the air as if being controlled by a puppet master.

“No need for saving face/ We are our saving grace,” Watts proclaims in his verse as the two break free from the ropes. 

“45” is the first single from Tituss’ upcoming EP, Saint Tituss, out July 26. Watch the video below.
