Meet the Super Smart Hot Polish Instagram Hottie Ready To Take Humanity Into the Future ???????? ???????? ????️‍????

Share
Since it’s unwise to travel during these global pandemic days, we’ve decided to virtually (via Instagram) go abroad to meet new people and get a sense of how we’re viewed by our fellow citizens of Earth.
#FlashFact: Gorąco is how you say hot in Polish.
Our first stop? Lublin, Poland where we met 25 year-old Instagram hottie Faryel, sorry Doctor Faryel. Faryel tells us that Lublin is the capital of eastern Poland (see map below).

What do you do? I’m learning medicine and want to specialize in pulmonology, family medicine, psychiatry (sexuality), and I’m going to start law and ethics soon. Then I want do engineering in physics and finally work to help colonize new worlds.

Really? Yes. I’m fan of science and progress. I think the future of humanity involves exploring the rest of the galaxy. If we make it and attain interplanetary status as a species, I think this would be the best outcome for humanity. The next step to developing human civilization.

Faryel, in this way is not unlike Nicolaus Copernicus, the Polish Renaissance-era mathematician, astronomer, and Catholic canon who formulated a model of the universe that placed the Sun rather than Earth at the center of the universe.

What’s your favorite thing about Instagram? Instagram is like avatar letting you meet people from all over the world who share the same passions as you do.

Faryal says of his mother country: I love living in Poland. The people are curious, although they are sometimes afraid of change which is understandable if you know the history of Poland. It has been invaded and occupied by various empires for much history — most recently the Soviet Union when we were one of the Eastern Bloc countries. When you have fought as many wars as we have to preserve our culture and sovereignty,  you need more allow more time to let changes occur.

The origin of the name “Poland” derives from the West Slavic tribe of Polans (Polanie), who inhabited the Warta river basin of the present-day Greater Poland region starting in the mid-6th century. The origin of the name Polanie itself derives from the Proto-Slavic word pole (field). In some languages, such as Hungarian, Lithuanian, Persian, Russian and Turkish, the country’s name is derived from the Lendians (Lędzianie or Lachy) who dwelled on the southeasternmost edge of present-day Lesser Poland. Their name likewise derives from the Old Polish word lęda (open land or plain).

There’s been a lot of news here in the States about anti-LGBT sentiment in Poland? Have you ever experienced any? And overall, what is your take? Our government seems to have found campaigning against LGBT folks as something they can use to maintain power, but most Poles are open minded and welcome to the LGBT community. Most girls have gay friends. Boys also seems to be open. This is progressive.

I’ve never experienced any acts of hate or have even seen or heard of it within my circle of friends. It is the politicians that are the problem.

What’s the biggest misconception that Americans have about Polish people? I have a few American friends. Most came here to study medicine. I would say the biggest difference is that we don’t smile and act like we’re always happy the way that they do.

Poles like to keep it real. We will tell the ugly truth, not just pretend that everything will turn out OK. We know from our history that this is not the case. We are passionate, so we show flashes of anger as quickly as a warm embrace. Polish people can be quite blunt, and their criticism may appear to be rude by U.S standards, but we are also very grateful guests.

Most Polish people know  how to speak English, but we would like you to try to learn few Polish phrases to earn our respect. (laughs)

So we can be shy and suspicious, and not always reveal our hand right away. I guess this is what I think may be their biggest “misconception.”
