Pete Buttigieg called for a demand for “an impartial and transparent investigation” into police shooting death of Dreasjon “Sean” Reed.
“Justice demands an impartial and transparent investigation of the killing of Sean Reed,” Buttigieg said in a Friday morning tweet. “Meanwhile we can’t act like this is one isolated incident after another. The problem is systemic, and the solutions must be too.”

The shooting set off a series of protests on Wednesday and Thursday. Reed was broadcasting on Facebook Live as police were chasing him prior to the shooting.
