Mel Brooks and His Son Max Team Up to Make the Ultimate Coronavirus PSA: WATCH #DontBeASpreader

“Hi, I’m Max Brooks. I’m 47 years-old.” Brooks begins, then points to his comic legend dad behind a sliding glass door. “This is my dad Mel Brooks, he’s 93. If I get the coronavirus, I’ll probably be OK. If I spread it to him, he’ll give it to Carl Reiner, who’ll give it to Dick VanDyke and before I know it I’ve wiped out a whole generation of comedic legends.”

Mel Brooks is the creator and director of such legendary comedies as Spaceballs, Blazing Saddles, and The Producers among others.

Max Brooks expresses that he has to think about who he can infect and urges you to as well. Max, who is the son of Mel with actress Ann Bancroft, is a writer who also works as an advisor to West Point on infectious diseases and was the author of World War Z.
