IOWA Lisa Lehrer at the New York Times says, “We are now into the fourth day of what I’ve taken to calling the Great Caucus Catastrophe of 2020. There are still no definitive results. And so far, no one seems willing to take responsibility for the meltdown. The Democratic National Committee blames the Iowa Democratic Party. Today, Tom Perez, the D.N.C. chairman, called for a recanvass, a process the state party says it will undertake if specifically requested by a campaign.”

HARRISON FORD while promoting his new movie Call of the Wild told reporters that America has lost its “moral leadership and credibility” according to the Huff Post. “Our position in the world is tenuous because of our lack of moral leadership, basically,” he said. “We lost some of our credibility in the world and we are anxious to regain it.”

The Star Wars star, who has long been active on climate issues, also spoke about political attacks against science. “Science is being denigrated,” he said. “Science is being ridiculed by people in ideological campgrounds. They are refusing the wisdom, the discipline of science in favor of a political point of view and that has to stop.”

JELLO-O SHOT Jenga is a thing. According to Delish, “Brian Calteaux from Winona, MN, sells these on his Etsy shop StonePointWoodwork, according to the site Crafty Morning, and they’re even better than you’d expect. Each looks like a typical Jenga board with 54 pieces, but hidden inside 15 of the pieces are slots to hide Jell-O shots. When you play, if you pull one of those pieces, the shot is yours.”

DNC CHAIRMAN Tom Perez signaled that he was losing patience with the confusion and the Iowa party’s handling of it. “Enough is enough,” Perez tweeted. “In light of the problems that have emerged in the implementation of the delegate selection plan and in order to assure public confidence in the results, I am calling on the Iowa Democratic Party to immediately begin a recanvass.”

BILL COSBY is also trending.

According to Billboard, “Cosby, who is currently serving a prison sentence for drugging and sexually assaulting Andrea Constand at his home outside Philadelphia in 2004, took to Twitter on Thursday (Feb. 6) to thank Snoop Dogg. The tweets come after Snoop’s criticism of Gayle King’s interview with Lisa Leslie, during which the reporter asked the former WNBA star about the late Kobe Bryant’s 2003 rape case. “We expect more from you, Gail. Don’t you hang out with Oprah? Why y’all attacking us? We your people,” Snoop said in the clip, reposted on Twitter by 50 Cent. “You ain’t come after Harvey Weinstein asking them dumbass questions. I get sick of y’all. I wanna call you one. Is it OK if I call her one? Funky dog head b—h.”

HILLARY CLINTON weighed in on Trump’s acquittal on Ellen Thursday. Clinton says she’s “disappointed,” but urges voters to hold the president accountable in the 2020 election.

TEX-MEX FASHION Mexican-American fashion designer Willy Chavarria has released his new collaboration with K-Swiss, which debuted back in July during the label’s SS20 runway show. Spanning apparel and footwear, the collection draws inspiration from ’90s California Chicano tennis prep.

MADONNA says she was “censored” by the London Palladium who cut her show short.
