‘Hitler Has Nothing on Trump’ Says Former Republican NJ Gov. Christie Whitman: WATCH

Share

“#Hitler has nothing on #Trump,” Former N.J. Governor Christie Whitman wrote on twitter, with a link to  the  New York Times story about a fake video of Trump killing members of the media.

According to North Jersey News:  “The fake video was played at a conference hosted by a pro-Trump group at his Miami resort last week, The New York Times reported. The video is an edited version of a scene from the movie “Kingsman: The Secret Service” and has Trump’s face inserted over the face of a character from the film as he enters the “Church of Fake News.”

The character then opens fire on the people inside, who have news organizations’ logos or the faces of Democratic lawmakers and other critics superimposed on their bodies.

Whitman wrote: “This video, played @ the president’s resort, is the stuff of dictators. The US is a land of discourse with those who disagree, not violent destruction of opponents in a church. #Trump & his defenders should be ashamed. What is America becoming? #TrumpVideo”

The White House on Monday said Trump has not seen the video but condemns its contents.

Whitman was New Jersey’s 50th governor and served from 1994 to 2001. She has long been a critic of Trump, tweeting earlier this month: “This is NOT my Republican party.”
