Greek Cypriot Bishop Claims Gays Are The Product Of Pregnant Women Enjoying Anal Sex: WATCH

His eminence, Church of Cyprus bishop Neophytos Masouras of Morphou, claims that a pregnant mother enjoying anal sex will produce a gay child according to Patheos.

Cyprus Mail reports that the Christian bishop told an audience at a primary school in Akaki, Cyprus, last month that homosexuality is caused by pregnant women enjoying anal sex, declaring:

Homosexuality is usually a problem transferred to a foetus, when a pregnant woman has anal sex and enjoys it.

The Bishop said:

It happens during the parent’s intercourse or pregnancy. It follows an abnormal sexual act between the parents. To be more clear, anal sex.

A hate crime bill protecting LGBT+ people was passed in 2015, while a public consultation was held on a proposed gender recognition law in 2018.

However, same-sex adoption is still not legal in Cyprus and gay people remain banned from serving in the military.
