Former Democratic rising star and ex-Florida gubernatorial candidate has gone into hiding after being present at the overdoes of at least one man on Crystal Meth at a Miami Beach hotel following a friend’s wedding.
According to the Florida Sun-Sentinel: “A police report about an apparent drug overdose in a Miami Beach hotel room overnight Thursday says that one of the three men present in the room was former Florida gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum — along with three small plastic bags containing suspected crystal meth. The incident could mark a sudden end to Gillum’s political star — which shone brightly for many Democrats even after he lost the 2018 election for governor.”
The two other men were suspected of being a same sex couple. Gillum was questioned but never arrested and was reportedly too inebriated to provide an accurate account. Gillum has since gone into self seclusion and a communications blackout.
