It’s easy in the midst of the Pride month and as New Yorkers ramp up for both World Pride and the 50th Anniversary of the Stonewall Uprisings (#Stonewall50) to forget that the battle for LGBT rights is far from over, especially on the global stage.

USA Today reported on the “13 countries where being gay is legally punishable by death” and they include:

12. Pakistan
